Doner Shack Secures First Texas Location in Booming Prosper Market

Franchisee group Gyro N Philly LLC, led by CEO Mr. Zaman, has secured its first Lone Star State location in the rapidly growing town of Prosper, situated at the intersection of Teel Parkway and University Drive.

“We’re delighted to bring Doner Shack to Prosper,” said Mr. Zaman. “This community represents everything we look for - growth, energy and a strong family-oriented culture. With the new PGA headquarters across the street, a high school with over 30,000 students, and the upcoming Universal Kids Theme Park just minutes away, we believe this is a home run location.”

Prosper, located just north of Dallas, has quickly become one of the fastest-growing towns in Texas, making it a strategic launchpad for Doner Shack’s Texas expansion. The new restaurant will showcase the brand’s core menu, featuring its signature shawarma and doner kebabs, buttermilk fried chicken tenders, loaded fries, and sliders, served with quality and speed in a setting designed for today’s fast-casual diner.

The Prosper launch represents a key step as the brand continues to establish itself in key regional markets nationwide, with Tallahassee expected to open in Q3 2025, alongside new locations in Las Vegas and other soon to be announced locations. 

With over 20 U.S. sites already secured since the start of the year and additional deals in the pipeline, Doner Shack’s national rollout is gaining strong momentum.
