Eggs Up Grill Cracks 80 Restaurants

July 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // SPARTANBURG, S.C. - After breaking records in 2023 Eggs up Grill is becoming a well known breakfast concept. The Brand signed four new franchise groups so far this year and adding more than 15 commitments to its development pipeline. Eggs Up Grill has opened nine locations year-to-date, recently celebrating its 80th restaurant in Bristol, Va.

CEO Ricky Richardson says that Eggs Up Grill has bucked industry trends with strong increases in guests and average restaurant sales over the past four years.

Eggs Up Grill is providing the tools and resources to help its franchise partners succeed. Investments in best-in-class technology include launching a new learning management system called Egg Yolk University. To maintain the Brand's goal of replicating a magnetic attraction in each neighborhood, the proprietary training system ensures its culture, brand standards and operational processes are effectively communicated through the platform.

As an integral part of each community it serves, Eggs Up Grill recently held its inaugural, systemwide fundraising campaign called Smiles for Good. Participating Eggs Up Grill restaurants accepted $1, $3 and $5 donations, with the goal of rallying the support of guests to fundraise for local charities, spreading joy and making a positive impact on Eggs Up Grill neighborhoods. Many of the franchisees matched guest donations, and more than $12K was raised and passed out to local community organizations.

“While many of our franchise partners raise money for local non-profit organizations throughout the year, we wanted to have a dedicated time in which raising much needed dollars for charitable organizations was emphasized,” said Richardson. “Giving back to our local communities is simply in our DNA – we are neighbors serving neighbors.”
