Fazoli's Turnaround Continues with Another Travel Center Opening
Five More Under Construction
July 17, 2013 // Franchising.com // LEXINGTON, Ky. – Families on the road this summer are increasingly finding a fresh dining option, as more Fazoli’s open in travel centers. The latest unit, operated by veteran Fazoli’s franchisee Odus Mundy, recently opened in Lafollette, Tenn., east of Knoxville. Mundy replaced a Burger King in the travel center, which includes a BP gasoline station. This is the chain’s third travel center location. Others are in Indiana and West Virginia. According to Craig Sherwood, vice president of Development, Fazoli’s has commitments for seven more, including restaurants in Colorado, Iowa and Indiana. Five are under construction.
