More Saladworks Locations Slated for Maryland

Three-Store Deal Signed for Anne Arundel County

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Saladworks, the nation's first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, announces an agreement today with multi-unit developers for three locations in Anne Arundel County, MD. Set to open in Q2 2011, the first Saladworks location from these developers will add to three thriving franchises already in Maryland.

New franchisees, Derek Morrell and Nicole Roudiez, are childhood friends going into franchising for the first time. Both Morrell and Roudiez are young, energetic entrepreneurs who were looking to grow and expand a business in their hometowns. Relying on the proven Saladworks concept and model, Morrell and Roudiez were confident in their ability to own and operate many successful Saladworks locations.

Morrell and Roudiez are graduates of Miami University in Ohio. Both have been actively involved in the hospitality industry for over ten years.
