'Big Daddy' Inks Aamco Franchise Deal
CINCINNATI, DAYTON AND COLUMBUS (Friday, May 11, 2007) - Former Cincinnati Bengals tackle Dan "Big Daddy" Wilkinson has signed a franchise deal to develop AAMCO Transmission centers throughout Ohio.
Wilkinson will open a minimum of seven centers, with Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus as the areas being considered, according to a news release from AAMCO.
A Dayton native, Wilkinson was recruited by the Bengals from Ohio State University and went on to play for the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins during his 13-year career. He founded the Wilkinson Group, a real estate investment and development company, in 2003.
AAMCO Transmissions, headquartered in Horsham, Pa., is a franchise operation with more than 800 automotive centers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico
