Zaxby's Operator Opens 34th Location

Avants Management Group (AMG) has just opened its 34th Zaxby’s location. The new restaurant opened in San Antonio this week and is the city’s first Zaxby’s.

"The Lone Star State has given Zaxby's a big Texas welcome in recent years, and with the opening of our Alamo Ranch Parkway location, we look forward to continuing to enjoy the support of the local community while delivering exceptional service and our indescribably good chicken," said Melissa Crowe, vice president at AMG.

Athens, Georgia-based AMG now operates 34 Zaxby's restaurants and employs more than 1,000 at its restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The company has 11 Zaxby’s restaurants in Texas and has plans to open additional locations in the state.

Speaking of the new restaurant in San Antonio, Crowe added, “Our restaurant will bring 60 new jobs to the area and provide new team members with career advancement opportunities in a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere.”
