Texas Operator To Bring 55 Golden Chick Restaurants To Houston Area

A couple of successful Golden Chick locations in west Texas isn't enough for James Griffis. The entrepreneur just signed a deal with the brand to open 55 locations in the Houston market. That's in addition to the remainder of his west Texas arrangement where he's set to top out at 35 locations of the quick-serve chicken brand.
"I grew up in Georgetown, Texas, where I regularly ate at our local Golden Chick (formerly Golden Fried Chicken)," said Griffis, president of WTI Capital, LLC. "I'm very excited for the opportunity to partner with Golden Chick and continue to grow this amazing brand."
Golden Chick has more than 180 stores operating in Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
