Multi-unit operator Kappa Investments, LLC, is set to expand its footprint with Buddy’s Home Furnishings in Virginia with the addition of five new locations.

Kappa Investments’ Jerry Marshall has more than two decades of rent-to-own experience and has been with the Buddy’s system for the last five years. He operates locations in Roanoke, Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, and Danville, Virginia.

“Their system is turnkey,” said Marshall. “Doing business with a team backed by more than 60 years of experience makes the process seamless from start to end, which has allowed us to continue to expand. The systems they have in place truly make all the difference.”

Marshall and Kappa Investments have already opened two of their scheduled five new locations, one in Madison Heights and one in Bedford, Virginia. That brings their total store count to six, with three more to come.

“It was the right time and right place,” said Marshall of his newest expansion plans. “Our industry has gone through waves over the past few years, but we’ve found there is a long-term need for what we do. The team at Buddy’s has been right there with us the entire time, from handling the sourcing of products during the pandemic to answering the phone anytime we have questions.”
