Multi-Unit Franchising Conference Moved to Spring 2021

Ongoing concerns over Covid-19 and public health and safety have led Franchise Update Media to postpone its annual Multi-Unit Franchising Conference for a second time. The event will now be held on April 6–9, 2021 at the new Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

On June 24, the Governor of Nevada announced that the state was not ready to move into Phase III of its reopening plan because of a rise in coronavirus infections and hospitalizations. This and other developments across the country led Franchise Update Media to make the difficult decision to reschedule the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, which had already been rescheduled for September 1–4, 2020.

The 2021 event, celebrating the 20th year of the MUFC, promises to provide the same outstanding experience it is known for. Attendees can expect great content, top keynote speakers, networking, and an Exhibit Hall packed with new franchise opportunities to help grow your business, and top-notch suppliers to keep it running smoothly.

Keynote speakers on tap for the event include NASA astronaut Captain Scott Kelly, the first to complete a year-in-space mission; Kevin O’Leary, investor on ABC’s Shark Tank; and Nigel Travis, chairman of Dunkin’ Brands and author of “The Challenge Culture.”

The 2021 MUFC Conference Chair is Tony Lutfi, a longtime franchisee in the food and retail space who grew his company to more than 230 locations in 11 states before transferring some of the business to the next generation of family members.
