Multi-Brand Franchisee Adds VIO Med Spa to Portfolio

Washington, D.C.-based Healthy Living Ventures, has just signed a franchise development agreement with VIO Med Spa and is set to open its first location in Northern Virginia.

Healthy Living Ventures is operated by Toya Evans and her two daughters Lauren Williamson and Chanel Grant. The multi-brand company currently operates six Tropical Smoothie Cafés and two Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas. Healthy Living Ventures was founded seven years ago and has made it a mission to operate businesses that focus on healthy products and lives.

“We want to ensure any business we take on fits within our business focus on healthier lifestyles and enables us to give back to our community,” said Evans.

Evans has been a leader as a franchisee in the Tropical Smoothie Café franchise system and serves on the brand’s DC Co-op Board, National Marketing Committee, and Franchise Leadership Council. She is also active in the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa brand where she serves on the national Product Committee for their Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa brand.

She was also recently recognized with Multi-Unit Franchisee magazine’s Spirit of Franchising MVP Award for extraordinary and enduring performance, growth, and community giving.
