Franchisees and Franchisors Working Together

Franchisors work hard to develop a system and a process that works well. They expect it to be carried out consistently at every one of the brand’s locations. Franchisees buy into the brand and execute the system every day, providing products and services at a level that customers expect. But friction can enter into this franchisee-franchisor relationship for a number of reasons and if matters are not quickly resolved, the negative effects can be felt on both sides and beyond.
It’s this delicate relationship that will be the focus of a breakout session at this year’s Multi-Unit Franchising Conference held April 3-6 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
“Franchisees & Franchisors Working Together to Resolve Differences” is the name of the session that will open up a discussion of how franchisees and franchisors experience differences of opinion that can lead to conflict and how both sides can resolve these issues. Panelists will draw on their experiences to discuss how to properly handle these issues in timely and effective ways - before it’s too late.
Expect the discussion to run the gamut from marketing and advertising issues, to operations and training, to royalties and fees, and much more.
The speakers for the session will be J. Michael Dady, attorney with Dady & Gardner, P.A.; Mike Manzo, COO of Jersey Mike's Subs; Rocco Fiorentino, president & CEO of Primo Hoagies and vice chair of Benetrends; Robert Branca, president of Branded Management Group; and JoyAnn Kenny, attorney with Marks & Klein LLP.
