Falcons Burgers Becomes Largest Checkers & Rally's Franchisee

Multi-unit franchise operator Falcons Burger has just acquired 30 Rally’s locations from retiring franchisee Joe Hertzman. All of the restaurants are in Kentucky and Indiana markets. The deal brings Falcons Burger’s holdings to 57 Checkers & Rally’s locations and makes the franchisee the largest in the burger brand’s system.
“Checkers & Rally's has a proven and beloved concept that continues to expand and improve with an eye toward the future. We see great opportunity for ROI, white space to grow, and technological innovation that will support operations and meet consumer demands,” said Falcons Burger CEO Shamsu Charania. “We congratulate Joe on his retirement and look forward to serving as stewards of the 30 Rally's restaurants we've acquired.”
Falcons Burger is a subsidiary of The Falcons Group, a multi-concept franchise company operating locations for Dunkin’, Baskin-Robbins, and TGIFriday’s, in addition to its real estate investments.
Falcons Burger plans to continue its growth beyond this latest acquisition with additional new restaurant construction.
